Service Manager – Residential Construction
We’re looking for an enthusiastic person to join our growing team.
As the Service Manager, reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will collaborate with the office team, building team, contractors, and a diverse range of customers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Managing Director in developing work programs, identifying sales opportunities, pursuing private and government tenders, and managing day-to-day tasks.
- Supporting the build team in planning and coordinating key contractual dates, as well as managing payment schedules and progress reports.
- Creating and adjusting project schedules as necessary.
- Building trusted relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact from contract signing through to site move-in and final handover, while effectively managing their
expectations. - Overseeing variations in the build process, handling defect claims, and resolving disputes.
- Fostering strong relationships with subcontractors and regulatory authorities.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements across all site activities.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements.
About You:
We are looking for someone who has:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Service Manager, Project Manager, or similar senior role, preferably in residential construction, or production management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and priorities effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent time management abilities.
- A knack for multitasking, building client relationships, and delivering exceptional service.
